About Me

Your wellness is my focus

I work to create a supportive, non-judgmental, and skilled space where we can explore your challenges and goals together. Whether you are facing everyday hurdles, significant life events, or wanting to strengthen your most important relationships, therapy can be a powerful way to process and deepen your understanding of what’s making it hard to live into the life and relationships you desire.

Clinical approach & specializations

In our sessions, I offer a calm and empathic presence to help you find healing and meaning in your personal life and relationships. I specialize in helping individuals manage and navigate grief, anxiety, trauma, depression, and isolation. Additionally, I support clients through major transitions, including changing careers, relocation, evolving family dynamics, and new stages of life.

I help couples rediscover their connection by learning to step toward one another. We identify both obvious and hidden barriers to connection and intimacy, balancing the healing of past wounds while creating new and deeper ways of relating to one another. I work with both heterosexual and LGBTQ+ couples.

Because every client is unique, I work from several different evidence-based methods such as:

  • Emotionally Focused Couples and Individual Therapy (EFCT & EFIT): We work to identify and transform the emotional patterns that keep you feeling stuck or disconnected, fostering a sense of security and safety in your relationships.

  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP): A trauma informed modality, we focus on processing difficult emotions in the moment, leaning into your innate resilience to spark healing and positive change.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): We explore the different "parts" of your inner world with curiosity, helping you unburden old wounds and lead from a place of healing and self compassion.

  • Deepening Modalities: I incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and narrative practices to help you stay grounded, process how stress lives in your body, and rewrite the stories that no longer serve you.

Why I Do This Work

I sometimes get asked what draws me to this field, and the answer is simple: I consider it an incredible privilege to get to do this work. It’s powerful to see a couple finding their way back to one another or individuals finding healing in their own strength and resilience. There is something incredibly special in the softening of a long-held defense, the discovery true self-compassion, or the restoration of a bond that once felt broken. I am grateful that I can be a small part peoples’ lives in this way.
